Let's get all those on social media who are promoting Barry, Barry Island, and various centres and associations in Barry, to a meeting to discuss how we can work together to create an even bigger, joined up, social media buzz for Barry. I cam across an old book about Barry, and there were a group of people in the '40's who became known as the "Barry Boosters"!! Let's create a "Barry Boosters" social media group. One face to face meeting, then onwards let's use the media.

Barry Regeneration started in 1992, some 22 years ago. It's aim was to regenerate and return to use the vast former coal Docks that were derelict and fenced off cutting the town away from its heritage. Key projects were to return the sterile water to use through a Marina, rejuvenating Barry Island with new undercover open all year around attractions, and creating a College Campus to increase learning and skills development... He and his mentor St Cadoc had a great influence across the UK and Europe, and has associations with the legendary King Arthur, and established many churches. I competed all over the country and advanced onto Tall Ships and made a number of trips to Channel Island, Portugal etc. But all stemming from wonderful people investing time in me and many others, in teaching us how to sail and race in the Dock, which was hardly used, visited, or...
