Could Barry create the longest place name in Wales

What must be one of  the greatest tourism publicity stunts of all time could be an inspiration for Barry.

It must be the 150th anniversary of the naming of the North Wales village Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

The tourist prospects of an otherwise fairly nondescript place were transformed into a global icon.(it only has a population of 3,000 but is world famous)

Could Barry Island create a new station nameplate with an even longer name to out trump LlanfairPG?

How about?

Should we go for the longest name?

What would be your suggestion?

Met with various marketing and PR people in Anglesey last week and none of them were aware of the 150th anniversary of the longest name in Wales opportunity.

Could Barry make something of this?
